Stepping outside on a cool June evening, a light breeze hits me. The sky is peaceful. By this, it is revealed to me that Heaven may be even closer to me than I thought. The mystery of the Kingdom of God Almighty ignites my curiosity, still to no level of imagination can it be comprehended. How I long to see its Glory!
Every morning, I wake up and think about what the next day will be like. I cannot fathom a life with no pain and no suffering, since most of my life has been difficult. Though I lose faith and turn away, God has always protected me and has never let me fall further than what I could stand up from.
His Glory reigns over me and the battles I face, both in this world and in the spirit. I dream of the day I stand before God and sing to Him the song of my heart. A song of sadness, but also of His praise and how He rescued me from the pit of destruction. I am forever grateful. For my King lives forever! Amen. (1 Peter 4:11)
No matter the surrounding circumstances, I raised my hand to the Good Lord and said, “I will go for You, send me.” Guide me by Your light to the darkness, that I may hold a candle to the evil that torments the world so that it understands Your unwavering love for us. I pray that through my testimony, many are reached and turn from their wickedness. Including me. (Isaiah 6:8)
This is a declaration of servitude and obedience to the Lord. A sacrifice of one’s life to spread the Word of God to the edges of the earth. We must raise our hands in faith, for God is asking us to stand ready to serve our Lord and His Kingdom through Christ Jesus.
I wrestle not with the process of healing but with the outcome of turmoil. For this life on earth is short in the immeasurable scope of eternity. “All go to the same place; all come from dust and to dust all return.” (Ecclesiastes 3:20, NIV) From the inhale to the final breath, all is measured carefully by God, for the beginning and end of the spiritual world have already reached finality. We, however, must await the span of time to render its completion. He sees the end and the beginning. He lives not by the flesh, bound by time as we do on earth. God has already spoken to you at your last moment when your life ends. He reaches from Alpha to Omega and grasps time in His palms, for He holds all things in His hands. (2 Peter 3:8)
